Friends Hello,
I hope the arrangements went well yesterday.
A few words about the team processing that is planned for Sunday, September 16th:
1. On Sunday, we will complete the discussion on four basic concepts in the plenum: state, interest (to be discussed today), security and power (to be discussed on Sunday).
2. The purpose of the work of Sunday (13:15-14:15) is to allow participants to discuss in more depth these terms.
3. The proposed method includes an analysis of these four components, but not the State of Israel, in order to encourage the participants to think outside the accepted frameworks. It is suggested to divide them into groups according to the type of country,
ask them to analyze the four parameters and then present them to the rest of the team.
The Political Entities Are:
- The Mandatory State (Palestine)
The Mandate can be read over about the movement of the Hebrew Revolt, events over the years (1921-1929, 1936-9, and the first part was the War of Independence in which the mandate was still the sovereign, for example, in the book of the last Commissioner).
- The Jewish Imaginary State in Africa (Republic of Eden).
See video, presentation by Yoav Gati:

- The Medina of the ruler Ahmad al-Jazzar Paza in the Galilee at the end of the 18th century. It is also worth understanding the state of his predecessor, Daher al-Omar, especially because of the types of threats (which included threats from his family and
tension with the central government. He fought with Polion and allied himself with the British (see relevant section of the series and the country was chaotic Chapter 15 from the 20th minute until the end of the section on Jazzar 29.49
I also hope to write a short memo the length of a page about each country and send it on the weekend to have participants in on the discussion.
Each of these raises interesting questions about what a state is, types of unconventional threats, an unconventional approach to creating security and definitions of interests.
I suggest that you forward the email to the participants who will lead the discussion and I am available for discussion.
