Dear Matan, Anat and Haim

 

It was a great pleasure to speak with you earlier today, and I look forward to working with you on this academic workshop. As you kindly requested, I am attaching a sample letter of invitation (for a workshop at Bar Ilan University) as well as a program for a workshop recently held at the Hebrew University. As these are internal documents, please do not circulate them further.

 

The Israel Institute will be very happy to assist you in writing the letter of invitation once we set a date for the workshop; we can write the letter and send it for your review and approval if you wish. After looking at the calendar, and given our preference to hold the workshop anytime between December 2017 and February 2018, I would recommend focusing on the week of January 7^th or January 14^th.

 

As for the composition of the cohort, I spoke with Ari and he is in agreement that you can invite participants from outside the US. From our side, 8 Americans and 4 non-Americans is highly desirable.

 

As I told you over the phone, do not hesitate to contact me with any question.
