Subject: Bilateral cooperation

Dear Major Or,

We met in your office in May 2017, and we talked about two activities of
Plan for bilateral defence cooperation between our two MoD:
a) Activities in the Republic of Serbia:
SRB-5 Israeli Military Colleges Director visit and
SRB - 6 Israely military Colleges Representatives Visit, and that
one of Israeli experts can give a lecture at our Military Academy (In
accordance with the talks of MG Tamir Hayman and MG Mladen Vuruna, Head
of Serbian Defence University, counterpart of MG Hayman, in November
2016 in Tel Aviv).
You told me that, because of obligations of MG Tamir Hayman, you are not
sure that he can, personally make a visit, but that you can send a
delegation (his associates).
We agreed that it is possible that we can join those two activities in
one activity, in last quarter of this year, in November or December
2017. I gave you the copy of the Plan for bilateral defence cooperation
between our two MoD.

You promissed me that you should speak to MG Hayman and give me official
answer until the end of May. I didn't receive anything.
I sent you one mail in June, nothing.
I made one phone call last Thursday, you told me you would call me in an
hour. Today is Wednesday.

B) Activity in State of Israel:
ISR -3 Serbian Defence University visit to the Israeli Military
Colleges.
During our meeting, in May 2017, I informed you avout proposal of MG
Vuruna that colonel Miroslav Talijan, Head of Serbian National Defence
School (School is counterpart of Israely Military Colleges), can come to
Israel and give a lecture to the participants of Israel National Defence
Colleges about a topic that is interesting to you, or if you do not have
specific wishes, that the Serbian side could suggest a topic.

I need an official answer:
1. What is the attitude of the Israeli side regarding Activities SRB-5
and SRB-6 (proposal of date, time, members of delegation, topics,
lectures, and so on)?
2. What do you think about activity ISR -3, do you have any official
stance regarding this question?

I just need your official answer.

Best regards,
COL Predrag KOSTIC
DA of Serbia in State of Israel
