My colleague is just going to confirm if I can book the flights for LTC Ofir Ben David or they need to do it their end. In the meantime please could you pass on the attached draft program to him and provide some details so that we can book his flights from Ben Gurion airport to Cyprus:

Any dietary requirements

As soon as I get the information I will look up the flight options and check he’s content before we book.

Further to your query I have received further guidance from Martyn and Colonel Yori Griffiths.

The SLP is traditionally for OF5/6 officers however Martyn, in his previous job, delivered the course from Captain to 3* level. The two UK participants will be OF4 as will the majority of Cypriots we suspect. Cyprus has had to hold many OF4s as part of their professional transformation programme – if this was not the case they would have been promoted before now. Martyn is of the view that OF4 – OF6 would be fine as we do not want to scare away talent and possibly compromise on language ability.

There would certainly be interest from the Israelis in attending although we don’t normally fund Israel for this sort of activity – I assume that this would be within scope as of benefit to the other attendees as well as Israel.
