So here's what I have found out and what we are doing.  Apparently, it was the head of the Israeli National Defense College, MG Hayman, who requested this of our NDU President, MajGen Padilla.

 

I will try to reach out to the embassy here to speak with the attaché who accompanied MG Hayman during the visit to see if they will reach out to you all.  Clearly, the follow-up has not happened.

 

I think it's important that we try to help accommodate what was requested by an official representative of Israel.  I will let you know what I find out.

 

Does this sound reasonable?  If not, let me know how you think we should proceed.

No word back from anyone on this. If the Israeli CHOD really wanted NWC instead of the Eisenhower School, then his chain of command is failing to get the message to any of the attaches or Israeli training offices; therefore, with no new guidance from them, I would keep the Eisenhower School scheduled. I've attached the attaché and the head of the Israeli Training office to this email, in case anyone wants to speak up about it one last time.

During a recent visit by the Israeli CHOD to NDU, he asked the NDU President if it would be possible to switch the incoming Israeli student, COL Dagan Reiss, from The Eisenhower School to National War College.  I am happy to inform you that we can now make that happen on our end.  If you would kindly work with SATFA to effect that change it would be greatly appreciated.
