First of all many thanks for the friendly offer to be allowed to present within the OSS.

Unfortunately simulation is not the core business of NATO C2COE. Although we cover a very important topic in NATO with Command&Control, we are mainly concerned with the non-technical side of C2. Of course we observe the development in the context of Modelling&Simulation, as far as it touches C2.

I cannot offer you a NATO C2COE briefing that corresponds to the basic idea of the OSS.

 

I recommend that you contact the NATO Modelling&Simulation Centre of Excellence (NATO M&SCOE). These could contribute to the OSS in terms of content. Please follow the link below which will take you to the M&SCOE webpage. It is best to contact the Deputy Director or one of the Branch Heads directly.

I am sorry that we as NATO C2COE cannot contribute to the program of the OSS. Nevertheless, we are looking forward to an informative stay in November.

Dear LTC Gangi, 

I write to you on behalf of the Israel Defense Forces regarding the Operational Simulation Summit expected to take place in November.

We aim the Summit to provide all participants with an International perspective on Operational Simulation and the Challenges affecting the Operational Simulation community in the 21st Century. Thus, we have scheduled for a number of International Speakers to present the different perspectives on Operational Simulation as a Decision Support System (DSS). 

It is with great honor that I extend this invitation to you, on behalf of MG Bengo. The Invitation is for an approximately 20-min presentation on the NATO Approach regarding Operational Simulation as a DSS. We are open to title amendments. We see your vast experience of utmost importance to the success of the Summit. 

Additionally, attached you will find an Article of one of our experts on Operational Simulation, Professor COL (Res.) Gabi Siboni. The article provides insight into some of the challenges the Operational Simulation Community is facing going into the 21st century. 

I would greatly appreciate it if you can be so kind as to provide a response by October 21st. This is to assure we can arrange for a timeslot in the Agenda.
