ACCOMMODATION:
You have indicated on your WAFER that you will book your
own accommodation or stay in one of the designated hotels; if this is not correct you must change your information in your WAFER profile accordingly. As a reminder, JWC/RLS will not book a room on your behalf (according to the invitation letter).
Individuals are to contact the hotel and make direct arrangements using the booking code listed. JWC will not make any individual reservations.

TRANSPORTATION:
Arrival Transport:
If you requested transportation in your online registration (WAFER) and you provided flight arrival/departure times, you will
be picked up from Sola Airport to JWC for the in-processing. The transport driver will be located next to the international arrival terminal (Norwegian Soldier in NAVY UNIFORM). If you do not see the transportation please head to the exit and to the
right, transportation will be parked near the Scandic Hotel. See PDF attached JWC Airport Shuttle Bus Map.
Note: Transportation cannot be provided
for individuals with incomplete information in WAFER and cannot be guaranteed to those that signed up after the deadline. Please ensure you login to the WAFER system and update your profile with the flight number, arrival and departure times; we cannot arrange
airport transfers without them. Transportation services will not be provided to personnel arriving prior to the official travel dates.
Daily Transport:
Daily transportation will begin on
Thursday 24-OCT-19 at 07:15 hrs from the Downtown pick-up point.

Return transport will be in accordance with the event/exercise agenda.
Note: If you miss the NATO shuttle bus, you must
utilize the commercial transport (bus n°X31) and disembark at JWC (NATO bus stop) on Eikesetveien Street.
Note: ENDEX. Host nation will only provide transportation
either to the airport or back to accommodations. Participants will not go to the airport via their hotel. Those that wish to do so must arrange their own transportation.
MEALS:
Breakfast according to Hotel posted hours. If you have made own arrangements outside of the coordinated hotels please make sure
you make breakfast arrangements accordingly.
No breakfast at JWC.

Lunch will be available at JWC as “Exercise Meals”
from 24OCT until 14NOV (90 NOK per lunch).

There are
Coffee and tea vending machines available in the JWC dining facilities (Level 2 and 5) as well as pastries, snacks, at Level 5 Canteen.

Dinner will be provided at JWC starting on 24OCT and last
dinner 13NOV. (90NOK per dinner)

Special dietary requests (i.e. medical requirements) should be indicated on the WAFER.

Water coolers are available in the JWC dining facilities and work areas. Tap water is also drinkable in Norway.
During ‘in-processing’ you will be invited to
pre-load credit onto your Access Badge (via Bank card [No AMEX & no U.S Government cards] or cash, NOK and Euros)
which is linked to the canteen payment system and Coffee/tea vending machines.
FINANCE:
Norwegian Kroner (NOK) is the only valid currency in Norway. Event participants are highly encouraged to conduct a money exchange
prior to arrival in Norway. During in-processing, individuals will pay the catering contractor, Eurest, managed by the JWC RLS personnel. All personnel are encouraged to pay with a major
credit card (AMEX & U.S Government cards are NOT accepted) although cash NOK and EUR will also be accepted.
Receipts for food, conference fee will be issued
to individuals on payment during in processing.
If a participant elects to pay in Euros, an additional administrative fee to cover the conversion fees charged by the banks will
be applied. Additionally, all change will be in NOK.
SECURITY:
1.
The JWC Security Office has the overall responsibility for all security aspects related to JWCs activity and facilities. The office is also the coordinating
authority towards the Host Nation Security Organization (including Host Nation Security Guard Force (HN SEC)), who is responsible for providing force protection, oversight and enforcing local guard force policies
2.
In order to be granted unescorted access to the training facilities (Class II Security Areas), as well as access to classified documents and/or CIS,
external personnel who are staff member of a NATO military or civilian body, a National military or civilian body of a NATO-Nation, or Contractors who are nationals of a NATO-Nation, are required to provide proof of personnel security clearance (PSC) at the
level of NATO Secret or above.

according to AC/35-D/1040-REV6 Supporting Document on Information and Intelligence Sharing with Non-NATO Entities.

Visitors/exercise participants Personal Electronic Devices (PED’s) are prohibited from the Class I and II areas. The criteria for bringing official
PED’s are as following:
a.
It must be mission essential
b.
Personnel shall have proper electronic device paperwork issued from their unit, and
c.
Sticker/label on the device. A sticker/label from their unit on the device itself without paperwork is not sufficient for introducing PED’s into a Class
II area at Joint Warfare Centre. Official PED paperwork from the visitor/exercise participant must have the following information; Unit/section name, type of device, make/model, registration/serial number dates of issues/expiration (if applicable), CIS or
Security Officer name, and their contact information. JWC HQ Security Officer is the final decision authority for entry of PED’s from visitors/exercise participants.
4.
Visitors hand carrying NATO classified material higher than NATO RESTRICTED must have written courier authorization (Ref: AD 70-1) from their point
of origin. In addition, prior notification (name, organization, date/time of arrival) should be sent to the JWC Registry staff (+47 5287-9172). Failure to provide this certification is a security violation, and will be reported to the individual’s home organization
for action if necessary.
