Dear Sir,

Concerning our conversation the other day over WhatsApp, I'm sending you here the information you requested for this year's INDC class.

The Israel National Defense College (INDC) is the highest national institution in Israel for training senior IDF cadre and senior officials in positions of management and command within the government and defense establishment. This year's program includes around 40 students - two thirds of whom are senior IDF officers (mostly colonels) and the remaining third coming from various areas of government (Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Police, Prison Service and other security organizations) - whose missions are connected to Israel's national security. The INDC staff reflects the myriad of its students, integrating on a rotational basis ambassadors and senior officers from both the IDF and other security services who are all well versed in the lexicon of national security.
In order to both broaden and deepen the national security dialogue, the INDC began an International Fellow's Program 15 years ago which today includes military representatives from the United States, India, Germany, Greece, and hopefully Switzerland.

The academic program of the INDC covers a wide scope of regional and global issues and includes meetings and lectures with the most influential figures of the State of Israel (President, Prime Minister, ministers, establishment leaders, professors, community leaders, etc.).
Apart from its instructional purpose, the INDC serves as a national center for the development of innovative knowledge and a source for the intellectual challenge to existing concepts. This is carried out by establishing and maintaining constant interaction with research and training institutions, both domestic and international. The nexus of processed information along with methods of critical analysis nurtured at the INDC ultimately aspires to influence decision making processes within the government apparatus.

Prior to the actual course that will start on September 2nd, starting July 20th there will be a preparatory Summer Course. The Summer Course is extremely valuable for the international participant’s introduction to Israel, and as such, the Commandant of the Israel Military Colleges, MG Itai Veruv, expects that every effort be made to allow participants the necessary time to quarantine in Israel prior to the beginning of the course on the 20th. We are hopeful that you are able to join us on time for the course.

You can find attached to this email the planned schedule for this year's summer course and a schedule showing that regular activities of the INDC during a normal year.
