Apologies for the delayed response, I was out of office for most of this morning.

I understand that MAJ Gal has spoken with you over the phone this morning regarding a few of the matters written in the below emails. So I'll just recap and answer some issues that weren't answered on the phone call.
  1.  LTC Bauer and his partner have permission from the MFA to enter the country. We will send him and email with a signed letter from the INDC stating the purpose of his trip in case there are any issues.
  2. People on our team have been in contact with Mrs. Avital. We will drop off the basket in the late afternoon.
  3.  Unfortunately, LTC Matan will also not be able to give them a ride to the apartment due to restrictions. He is only able to greet them at the airport and make sure they enter the country without any issues.
I'll let you know if there is anything else. Please feel free to do the same.

sorry for the communication hang up yesterday whilst on the road up in the north.
Referring to your questions, you raised in the b.m. message:

 

1.       We arranged temporary housing in Master Apartments, Sheinkin Street 38, Yafo
(the same location I`ve lived in the last six weeks and my successor as well lives in already right now (quarantine))
POC: Mrs. Avital 050-202-0097, phone (as well WhatsApp)

2.       We tried to do so, but acc. to the containment procedures in force, we will not be allowed to do so. Only taxi is available for transport.

3.       Yes, this is a good idea to drop off the basket at Sheinkin prior to arrival tomorrow.

4.       If LTC Or is going to meet him and his spouse at the airport, how about picking him up and offering him transport to Sheinkin? We as the military attaché staff would very appreciate this and it will ease off the arrival circumstances for them. LTC Bauer is due to arrive with Lufthansa LH 680 at 16:05 hrs. (local).

 

Please let me know, what will be your  game plan for this issue.

Good morning, hope you are well,

 

I understand that LTC Bauer will be arriving Friday night/early Saturday morning in TLV. I have some questions regarding his arrival:

  1. I understand that the attache office has arranged a temporary apartment for LTC Bauer and his girlfriend. Would you be able to tell us what the address is so we can keep it in our records?
  2. Will the attache office also be arranging transportation from the airport to the apartment?
  3.  Our office is putting together a welcome basket for LTC Bauer that includes some basic groceries. What would be the best way to get it to his apartment? Perhaps we can send someone on friday to the apartment, or drop off the goods at the attache office on friday?
  4. LTC Matan Or, Head of the Instruction Branch at the INDC, will meet LTC Bauer at the airport.
