Good afternoon MAJ Gal Balas

Thank you very much for the congratulations and I am sure that this year will be a unique experience for me. I am married and Ι have 2 daughters but my family will not come to Israel with me due to the professional obligations of my wife who is also an Army Officer. Of course they will visit me during the year but I still don't know the exact times. As for the information on my exact date of and the details of my flight, unfortunately I do not have them yet but I am sure that I will be able to send them to you in the near future.

As for the issue of food allergies, I do not have any special features.
I would like you to know that I plan to come to Israel on 10 or 11 July 20 as there is no longer a quarantine issue. Please let me know if there is a problem with this. Unquestionably I am looking forward to come in Israel and leave that experience.

Yours sincerely

LTC Nikolaos Skourellos

Subject: Information on INDC 48th Class

Good Afternoon LTC Nikolaos,

I'm MAJ Gal Balas, head of the Foreign Relations Desk at the Israel National Defense College. I am honored to congratulate you on having been chosen to represent your military and your country at the INDC during the upcoming academic year.

We would like to inform you that the Summer Course will begin on Monday, July 20th, 2020 at 08:30 at the INDC Campus (Waze: http://waze.to/li/hsv8yb70u9). The Summer Course takes place Monday through Thursday.  At present, the Government of Israel maintains a requirement for all foreign visitors to undergo a two-week quarantine period upon arrival.  Given this, we recommend that flights be scheduled for the intended participants to arrive in Israel no later than July 5th.

The Summer Course is extremely valuable for the international participant’s introduction to Israel, and as such, the Commandant of the Israel Military Colleges, MG Itai Veruv, expects that every effort be made to allow participants the necessary time to quarantine in Israel prior to the beginning of the course on the 20th. We are hopeful that you are able to join us on time for the course.

We request that you please send a copy of your formal CV, general information about your spouse's/children (and identify which of them will be accompanying you throughout your stay in country), information about any allergies to food and any other information you feel is important that we receive. We would also appreciate it if you could forward us your flight information as soon as possible, including date and time of departure from home country, details of layovers, flights numbers, and the date and time of expected arrival at Ben-Gurion Airport. This will allow us to prepare for your arrival at Israel as well as for the Summer Course.
