10/05/2017, 10:10:18: מתן אור: 1.       Dr. Marvin Feuer is Director of Policy and Government Affairs at the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.  In this capacity, he guides AIPAC's lobbying, policy development, and research efforts. Before coming to AIPAC, he served in senior staff positions on Capitol Hill and in the executive branch, including Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Policy Analysis and Acting Director of the Pentagon’s Policy Planning Staff. 
Dr. Feuer is a graduate of Columbia University (B.A.1971), and received his doctorate from Harvard University (1977). He is the author of several books and monographs, including: Congress and Israel: Foreign Aid Decision-Making in the House of Representatives, 1969-1976 (Greenwood Press, 1979), and The Arrow Next Time? Israel's Approach to Missile Defense in the 1990s (The Washington Institute, 1991).  From 1990-2005 he served as an Adjunct Professor in Strategic Studies at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies, where he taught courses in U.S. defense policy and security problems of the Middle East.  His articles and essays have appeared in numerous publications, including The New York Times, The Christian Science Monitor, Los Angeles Times, and Orbis. He has been a guest lecturer at the IISS, Harvard, Georgetown, and Haifa Universities. 
Dr. Feuer has served as a consultant to the Department of Defense and NPR. He is a member of the American Jewish Committee's National Advisory Council and the Johns Hopkins University's Strategoi. He is listed in Who’s Who in America and Who’s Who in American Education. He and his wife, Debra, have three adult children.
