 Hey Judy,

No way for the SG to order expedited testing? We’re not flexible on arrival day (no over weekend travel for us) and we are looking to extend one day. Who is the POC at the GS Office? Our GS can discuss this with him, as they have an existing relationship.

Our Defense Attache is working with the German authorities to see what they can do and perhaps they can expedite the process for us (they are already granted ya an exemption).

For us to begin the process, we need the letter from you.

Hello Benzi,

Could you travel a few days earlier to fulfill the mandatory 24-48 German quarantine limit (for a negative test)? The EUCOM command surgeon has recommended testing at the arrival airport instead of Patch due to the turnaround time (48-72 hrs for non-symptomatic).

BRs, Will

Hey Judy, following up on our phone call, im cc'ing Eric and Brian as well.

       Some facts:

       1.      We are coordinated with the German Government (via or DATT in Berlin) that all IDF members coming in will be exempt from quarantine upon arrival. Pending (1) COVID-TESTING (2) Invitation Letter from EUCOM (by name).

       2.      As of yesterday people coming in from Germany to Israel are exempt from quarantine.

We arelooking forward to conducting an in-person (and virtual) MSEL for JF21 (14-16 September), in Germany.

We do understand there is a need for policy restriction removal to make this happen, but following up on the letters sent last week (attached here too), we hope we can make this happen. Or at least allow the COS/DCOM make the decision.

In preparation for the trip, we will be doing 2 COVID tests (2 weeks prior and 2-4 days prior), as requested by the Government of Germany. If required we can do tests in Germany as well, and obey any restriction on movement you may ask us (we have our own strict guidelines in place as well, and will like to sleep on base/panzer if possible).

As mentioned above, in order to get the approval from the Germans we need an invitation letter (very technical) from you.

The following folks will be traveling (FOR THE INVITATION LETTER):
