I just spoke with the Joint Staff.  JTIMS Lite (the software) is owned by
the Joint Staff.  The servers are located at and controlled by EUCOM.
Historically, Mr. Babcock and MAJ Brathwaite controlled this process.

1. EUCOM needs to make sure these URLs are active:

   I've taken over for Norm Lloyd as the new EUCOM MSEL Manager.  This will
be my first JF so I'm a little new to the EUCOM process.   I'd appreciate
your assistance in getting the JF21 JTIMS Lite server remote access
expedited to Ms Keenan (cc'd) for support to the JF21 MSEL scheduled for
14-18 Sep.   My SEAGULL account should soon be re-activated but I've already
had numerous account requests on Enterprise.

 

Please let me know if there is anything else I need to do on this end.

The current servers are persistent and should be on line now . But that was
5 months ago!!!

 

Recommend, both you and KK reach out to the SEAGULL CITS support team.  I
would highly recommend, the EUCOM Planner lead, Lt Col Hague and Tom Hooper
be Cc'd in the message. 

 

I've Cc'd Marcus Jones to hopefully assist connecting you all to the right
POCs.

request the servers directly?  And, if so, is there a form and a name?
Would like to get together, if you don't mind, to talk about the rest of

Background information on the SG JTIMSLITE Server.  Currently EUCOM has the
servers (there are 2 JTIMS LITE servers) in Stuttgart.  They provide and
maintain the servers. 

 

KK is given the Sys Admin rights to Remote into the JTIMS LITE Servers and
load up the JTIMS LITE software and keep them up and running from the JTIMS
side of the house.

 

What KK is challenged with, is keeping her permissions / SA login currently
and fully activated.  What she was able to do last week, or even yesterday,
may be gone / stripped of her permissions the next day.  Then the hat dance
begins, to get the right SG Tech who can grant her permission back and the
time differences challenges even the best of intentions.

 

With that said, what should be a simple thing turns into a 1 - 2 week
battle, etc.  For JC20 she couldn't get her account going because the SG
Tech Team (especially the person who could restore her SA permissions) was
always out being busy supporting an upcoming MAJOR Exercise (JC20).    Tell
us about it!!!
