Major Soceanu,

This is outstanding news and we are very proud of Col Brock!

Thank you for taking care of Col Brock while he has been a student at your fine college and for creating for him an environment in which he has been able to achieve such success.

We are happy to work with you and the reporters for this good-news story.  The Public Affairs lead for this effort is Maj Davina Petermann, whom you have already included.

Thank you again.

Sincerely,
Lt Col Allen

Lt Col Allen, It is with great pleasure that I inform you that Col Douglas Brock has been selected as one of two Distinguished Graduates (of 41 students) for the 45th graduating class of Israeli National Defense College. He was #1/6 international Field Grade Officers. Also, he was one of four students with top final papers selected to brief our general officer senior leadership.

The Israeli National Defense College is a college of the IDF which trains the officers of the IDF, their counterparts in the various security bodies and foreign armies to be a national security strategist. The college is constructed through lectures, tours and meetings with senior officials in the IDF and beyond.

Col Douglas Brock is an admirable candidate for potential participants from the North American public to effectively familiarize themselves, their families and commanders with the INDC course.

We would like to emphasize that Doug’s personal experience here at the INDC is one to divulge in with its significance to his learning and acquaintance with the IDF.

Following approval from Relevant officials in the US army, the Military Colleges and the IDF Spokespersons unit, We would like to offer Col Douglas Brock to be interviewed by reporters from the international media.

The reporters we wish for him to speak to are:

Barbara Opall-Rome, Defense News

Judah Ari Gross, TOI

Andrew Tobin, JTA

John Hadi, TML (the media line)

Yaakov Lapin, JNS

We congratulate him on an excellent year.

Thank you

V/R

We are good for the 11 July interview.

Both would still like to know who is conducting the interview and what questions will be asked.

        Cheers,
