Subject : Suggestion for the ICRC's participation in the IDF Colleges courses - following our recent discussion
Dear Major Soceanu,
Following our recent discussion about
a possible resumption of the ICRC's participation the in IDF Colleges courses
(PUM and MABAL), please find below a tentative list of issues that we would
like to suggest addressing during our presentations.
In addition, you may be aware that the
ICRC regularly holds joint exercises with the IDF and COGAT, which are
aimed at improving the humanitarian coordination in times of emergency.
We could consider together if such simulations
could also be useful for the participants of the PUM and MABAL courses,
as part of the presentation that the ICRC is proposing.
We look forward to an opportunity to
meeting and further discuss this in the near future.
Warmest regards,
Yuval
