Subject : JC22 MPC Entry Permits
Attachment : 11427_smime.p7s;

Gentlemen,

There appears to be some misconceptions regarding Israeli entry permits.

To be clear - If we do not have entry permits by 1500 (Germany) time (1600
Israel) tomorrow (Thursday - 15 July), we are going to have to make a
recommendation to cancel the MPC.

I'm being told we should not expect our entry permits until 24 hours prior
to our departure, this is unacceptable and completely false!  We searched
our records and we received entry permits for the IPC on 4 May 2021 with the
IPC beginning on 10 May 2021 - 6 days ahead of time.

Currently we have 3 service members who have had to postpone travel as they
were supposed to depart Tampa today.  They did not receive entry permits
24hrs prior.  Additional J6 personnel should depart tomorrow and the Joint
Staff / CENTCOM personnel will depart on Friday. Neither Joint Staff /
CENTCOM groups have received their entry permits.

Rescheduling the MPC is going to next to impossible as other exercises have
consumed all available remaining dates.

Please actively engage your leadership and/or senior leaders to ensure we
meet tomorrow's suspense to enable our travel.

Best Regards,

LtCol Pat "V" Vongsavanh
