Good afternoon,
Please let me apologize for the late nature of this email, we have changed our email address to the current one and somehow missed it.
1.
IDF Military Colleges
The reason that the general information was given by us is that the location of the conference was the International Military colleges which are not a
part of the Ground Forces. We cc'd Before Tobias which is from the INDC. He should've taken care of that.
Please find cc'd MAJ Ido from the INDC. He will be able to reply all of the questions stated below.
2.
We received the two letters. Thank you for that
3.
Thanks for the info. Ill do my best to get an answer as soon as possible.
Many thanks

Subject: Pending Issues with GF
Dear Maj Karina Yossef Hay,
I have some open issues with you that I like to finalize.
1.
IDF Military Colleges
The issue began after the doctrine conference, when Lt Hirshenzon sent me general information, which gave rise to some questions.
I
sent them on Feb 26th (reminder on Apr 8th) but I still have no answer.
a.
Is it true that foreign students can only attended the
INDC, at the rank of Colonel?
b.
Are there any other courses that may accept foreigners?
c.
I would like to have more information about the courses that can be attended by Cypriot officers,
i.e. process to apply for the course/ language of the course / learning methods of the course specifically / some hinds about course curriculum / which is the starting month of the course, etc.
2. Farewell Letter from NG CHOD
I forwarded two official letters from the Chief of National Guard to the departing Chief of IDF GF and to his successor, asking for verification of receipt.
You didn’t verify.
Furthermore I would like to open a third new issue that came as a demand from the General Staff in Cyprus.
3. Drones
They are thinking of introducing the drones into the ground forces capabilities but before that, they would like to have some general information out of IDF’s unique experience on the subject.
So I would appreciate it if you could send me some information on this issue
(i.e. a presentation) that might answer questions such: (a)
What kind of organization (level of
command) is necessary to develop in order to integrate the drones, so that we can best exploit them?
(b) Are we talking about servicing a battalion level or a bigger formation? (c) How many drones usually serve a battlefield? (d) What kind of information can be collected? (e)
How do the results from the information gathered from the drones reach those who are interested?
etc.
I want to clarify that I don’t need any confidential information but only general information.
I have already approached the air force for answers, but they are dealing with larger
air-vehicles.
I hope that I could have some answers on the above, but first please send me a verification that you receipt this email.
Thanks very much waiting for your answers.
Best Regards,
