Sure thing.
If helpful, I can send you an invoice for the $24/per person which includes admission and the staff-led tour?  That way, I could generate the tickets internally -- no need to make a reservations etc on your end.

Hi Patrick,

Not a problem at all – I am working on the tickets with the delegation. Likely right after the weekend we will have this sorted out.

Thank you!

Hi, Andrew -

Apologies for the delay -- hectic morning over here.

I'm sorry to hear that we couldn't get the full time together, but I'm very happy to set up admission and a staff-led tour.

In fact, I'll likely be able to pencil myself in to take your group on the tour personally.

If confirmed on your end, we'll stick with your plan as described:

  • 11:15am - Arrival at Museum's Group Check-in.  Expedited through admissions and security
  • 11:30am - 12:30pm - Staff-led tour of the Museum
  • 12:30pm - Departure

The cost per/person on this would be $24 which includes admission and the tour.

Let me know if this works for you.

Looking forward to meeting the group -

Patrick

Hi Patrick,

Thank you so much for this proposal and for walking us through all of us. No doubt you have a great amount of experience with these kinds of groups and it’s great to work with you.

Unfortunately we spoke again with the commander of the group today and they now want to take things in a slightly different direction. Right now we can arrive on June 21 at 11:15 and we would just want to have a one hour guided tour from 11:30 – 12:30.

We won’t be able to add the program in the theater with the NYS Homeland Security Commissioner.

In light of that, could we adjust the pricing to reflect just a tour without the film screening or use of the theater?

Many thanks for the flexibility and we are looking forward.

Best,

Good morning, Mr. Gross and all -

Thank you, Lauren, for the introduction.  I'm happy to make the connection.

As mentioned, my team and I organize/deliver specialized visits and trainings for the intelligence, diplomatic, military, and law enforcement communities here at the Museum.

We work closely with nearly every US intelligence agency and have frequently hosted international affiliations as well.  It would be our pleasure to work with your group in June.

Based on what I see from your expectations below, I would recommend the following:

Professional Training Program: 'Preparatory Visit'

Friday, June 21

  • 11:15am - Arrival
    • Expedited through admissions and security
  • 11:30am - Auditorium program begins
    • 5 minute welcome/introduction by 9/11 Museum staff
    • 15 minute private film screening
    • 30 minute address by NY State Homeland Security Commissioner
    • 10 minute Q/A
  • 12:30pm - Auditorium program ends
    • Comprehensive staff-led tour of the Museum down to bedrock level
  • 1:30pm - Free exploration of exhibitions and/or departure

Note:  If spoken English is an issue for any presentations, I believe one of my colleagues is fluent in Hebrew - and I'm sure would be very happy to support as needed.

The cost of this program is $32/person and includes admission.

If this looks like something your group may be interested in, let me know, and I'll move forward on reserving the Auditorium space and draft up some documents to send your way.

Feel free to reach out with any questions -- happy to talk through at your convenience -

Yours v/r,

Patrick

Good Morning, Andrew.

Including my colleague Patrick for this one.

Patrick manages our professional programs, a more catered experience for senior leaders in government that takes place in our auditorium, and includes personalized tours.  It’s also at a cost savings!

Patrick can share more info.

Patrick – please keep me posted so I can join if possible.

Thanks!

Best,

Lauren

Subject: Visit of Israeli MABAL Delegation
Importance: High

Hi Lauren,

Hope all is well – sorry I missed you at the Police Unity Tour, was looking for you there. As in past years, a group of about 52 top leaders from various Israeli defense agencies (including some Americans and foreign officers) will be in NYC for a visit next month. The group, which is called the Israel National Defense College (MABAL by Hebrew acronym), consists of Israeli military personnel above the rank of colonel and other high ranking officers in the military, intelligence, energy, and other key agencies. The mission of the delegation is to expose them to key people, ideas, and communities in the US that will give them perspective as they take on further leadership roles in the Israeli government which strengthens the US – Israel partnership.

Many of these people go on to head their organizations or move up the chain in other areas within the government.

Here is an overview:

  1. The delegation would like to visit on Friday, June 21 and have a guide. Is that possible from 11:30 – 12:30?

  1. Would it be possible to arrange for a group purchase of 56 tickets (perhaps at a discounted rate)?

  1. Will it be possible from 12:30 – 13:15 to use a conference room or hall in the Museum for a discussion after? We are inviting the NYS Homeland Security Commissioner to join us and would like to see if we could have a private briefing afterwards.

  • The group will have two armed security agents – I will coordinate with you and LT. Pomerantz ahead of time.

  • The group will arrive with two small buses, I will coordinate with LT. Pomerantz about entering the perimeter.

As always thanks so much and looking forward.

Best,
