Hi Benzi,

Hope you and the family are all well and healthy.

Just wanted to advise you that Canberra has postponed two of the three courses that I had listed below for possible IDF attendance – the Humanitarian Operations Seminar and the International Aviation Safety Officer course.

These postponements are not unexpected, and I don’t have a date for rescheduled courses. I expect the third course offered – Maritime Security Cooperation Workshop in September – will also be postponed with the ongoing pandemic and restrictions on flights and entry into Australia.

Once I know any firm details on new dates I will let you know.

Regards

UNCLASSIFIED

Hi Benzi,

Attached are a number of courses in Australia’s Joint Training Program that we would like to offer to Israel in our Training Year July 2020 – June 2021.

As you can see, in the three different courses there has been one position earmarked for IDF attendance if you believe this worthwhile.

The offers are not guaranteed positions on the courses as the returns are accepted on a first received basis. I haven’t been asked yet for nominations, but if you could identify which (if any) of the courses are of interest to the IDF I will make sure Israel’s nominations are ready to go when called for in Canberra.

For each course Australia will pay for airfares and allowances for the individual attending, but if the IDF is interested in any then I will confirm the full support arrangements.

Regards
