I hope this email finds you well, and that you are enjoying the last glimpse of the brutal Israeli winter.
We would like to thank you for your participation in the "Military Operation Simulation Summit & Strategic Overview" that was held in Camp Aviv on January 22nd, 2019.
This Preview Event is essential for the success of the Military Operation Simulation Summit that is expected to take place later this year, between November 12th - 14th, 2019.
The IDF - J3 has begun preparations for the upcoming summit, inviting participants and relevant officials to take part in panels and talks during the summit.
As part of these preparations, we would like to receive your input regarding the following topics:
1) What Branches in your military hold responsibility for Force Build-Up and Force
Deployment? Joint Force Development which is part of Joint Force Command is the right area.
2) Does your military have an equivalent to the IDF's Concept Laboratory? If so, what tools do they utilize to fulfill their mission? (Example IDF's King's Game System, as presented in the slideshow attached).

The Single Synthetic Environment Technology Demonstrator (SSE TD) will provide a cloud-based wargaming tool, and enable
operational decision-support, the later principally by digitising elements of the Operational Estimate and enabling operational-level course of action analysis (falsification rather than validation)

Although there is real utility in the tool itself, the main purpose is to demonstrate the ability to provide a cloud-based,
fully immersive, scalable virtual world which (beyond the TD) can eventually lead to a single synthetic environment linking tactical simulation to strategic wargaming, incorporating live-data, encompassing and modelling/simulating across all 5 domains (in
this definition: sea, land, air, space, cyber) and the information environment.
3) Does your country have a Leading Industry in the field of Operation Simulation? (Example - Israel's Rafael). DSTL
4) Are you aware or familiar with similar positions in Academies/Research Center's in your country that may be of interest to us?

5) Who are the relevant officials in your military that you would like the IDF invite to the upcoming Summit? Wg Cdr Keith Dear, Maj Tom Mouat – Tom is already in conversation
with Goor Tsalalyachin at the Dado Centre about wargaming and may be planning on visiting in May – would it be possible for him to also see J3?
