Next week is quite short notice, I will see what we can do, is it anything pressing and can you confirm anything specifically that wants to be discussed other than progressing the relationship?

Comd 77X is in London fairly regularly so with a bit of notice we could also get him to a secure VTC.

So the idea is for Col Frankel to have a skype call with Brig Reeve, is that right?

Can you just confirm Col Frankel’s position and what he wants to cover in the call? It may be that the policy lead in the MOD would be the more appropriate far end.

This request comes after the excellent visit on the Mil to Mil and obvious benefit of resurrecting the planned visit by IDF J3 to the UK. Given that I’m on leave this week, would you be able to pick it up with Benzi to see whether/how/ and with whom an unclass video call could take place to get this engagement back on the road?

Hi Benzi - nothing secure. I think that we would use Skype or FaceTime so could do it anywhere. The Embassy uses Foreign Office systems which aren’t available in the Army locations.
