Hi Bob,
Thank you for your e-mail. I will confirm with Austan and Steve that the info below is correct and if they have any pre-read material.
Madhav will be traveling on the 12th, so I will let you know who will do intros and moderate. Arranging a tour and a place for the bus won’t be a problem at all.
I’ll be back in touch with more info when I have it to share.
Thanks so much!
Best regards,
Holly

Subject: Presentations at Booth School of Business, U. of Chicago.
Hi Holly,
I hope you have been well since the phone call with Deputy Consul General Itay Milner.
I am just following up with you to go over some details regarding the program at Booth on June 12th for the delegation of IDF officers.
·
This is the how the agenda item on their schedule currently appears, complete with links to the faculty bios of Professors Goolsbee and Kaplan.
11:00 am-1:00 pm
U. of Chicago, Booth School of Business. Charles M. Harper Center. 5807 S. Woodlawn Ave.
Room TBD
Presentations by Professors
Austan Goolsbee and
Steven Kaplan.
Topics: Goolsbee: “Forecasts for US Economy based on President Trump’s domestic and foreign economic policies”;
Kaplan: “Characteristics that make a successful CEO/leader”.
Contact: Holly Stauffer, EA to Dean Rajan. Tel: (773) 702-6680;
Holly.Stauffer@chicagobooth.edu .
·
Are the topics accurate as the Professors plan to present them?
·
If the Professors have written any brief articles on these topics that might enhance the officers’ understanding of their presentations, they are welcome to suggest and forward links
to them.
·
Who will be introducing the presenters and moderating the Q&A? Dean Rajan? Someone else?
·
After the presentations, would there be someone available to give the delegation a brief tour of the main Quads after the meeting and before they go to Hillel? They are due at Hillel
by 1:30 pm where they will have lunch.
·
Also, they will need a designated space for their bus to wait for both the Booth meeting and Hillel. We would appreciate
Itay and I would be happy to discuss any and all of these points with you. I have also copies Rebecca Gold who is our Academic Affairs Director and will also be with
the delegation.
Thanks for your assistance!
Best,
Bob
