Hi Kelly!

Thank you for your patience - we are unfortunately still missing the same document, the Test Site Contract. Anat filled out a Proctor Contract, but we still really need a Test Site Contract as well, from someone affiliated with the library/college (if that's Anat she can submit that too). Thanks!

Hello John!
Anat and I were just wondering if we are all set for testing now?
Please let us know what else needs done.

Thank you!

Hi Kelly!

Happy New Year to you too! Sorry for the delayed response. That's great news! The only part we're missing is still the Test Site Contract from an authorized representative of the site - someone who works for the library/college (if I'm correct that it's a college library) who has the authority to make commitments regarding the facilities. I think there might've been some confusion because the Proctor Contract (which Anat did submit) shares a few points with the Test Site Contract - it's a not-infrequent point of confusion, I apologize! As soon as we get that, I will get the site's info into our system, which will then enable me to transfer Faith's registration to that location and the correct date.

Thanks for your patience!

Hello John!
Happy New Year!
I have paid for Faith’s exam.  She is ready for the testing on Feb 12.  Do I need to do anything on my end or with Anat to finalize this?
Thank you again so very much.

Ok great!  I will look at finalizing that payment.
Anat had a few areas of question on the forms. Please let us know if we did anything incorrectly.

Excellent! It looks like Faith already has a registration started under the February 29 CLT - you can submit payment on that registration whenever you're ready and then I can manually move it to the correct date/location on the back end once we have the Test Site Contract processed.

Thanks,
John Weeks

Great!  I think Anat is working on that!  How do I register Faith for the Test on Feb 12?
Thank you again!!

Thanks, Kelly! We've received Anat's proctor contract and will get that processed today. The last thing we need is just the Test Site Contract from a library employee and we're all set!

Thanks,
John

Hi Kelly - okay great, I'm happy to hear that! The time difference we can work with - do you think you'd be able to have her start the test at 3 PM or later, your time? That would be ideal just to guarantee that we'll be in the office to provide support if needed.

The only things we need from here are a Test Site Contract from the library (from e.g. a library manager or events/facilities coordinator) and a Proctor Contract from Anat. If it makes anything any easier and you have an email address for either of those I'm happy to contact them directly with the contracts as well.

Thanks for your patience through this process, we appreciate it and the effort you've put into making this work!

John,
Ok, February 12 should work.  However, we are 7 hours ahead of East Coast time.
If you could let me know the steps to set this up, that would be great!  I really appreciate your help with getting this accomplished.

Hi Kelly,

I'm afraid we aren't really able to deviate from our established testing dates for the school year, but if Saturdays are off-limits we have one final option this school year - the CLT is being administered by a number of our partner schools on Wednesday, February 12 2020, and your daughter could sit for that date in tandem with these stateside schools if that works! Please let me know and we can move on to the next steps if that's acceptable.

Thanks,

Hello John,
Thank you for your response.  I have found a library and a proctor for my Daughter to take the CLT.  We are looking at Jan 8.  It’s a Wednesday, but there is no way to try and match a Saturday testing here.  Friday to Saturday is a sabbath day here and so I would not be able to use the Library Friday - Sunday.

My available proctor, Anat Chen,  has read the requirements and is willing to run the exam.  Can you please let us know the next step in the process?
Thank you so much for helping me to make this happen for my daughter.

Hi Kelly,

Thanks for reaching out! Yes, we should be able to make that work, just a few considerations:
  • Would it just be one student? Generally, for reasons of student safety, we need to have at least two students in order to activate a given test site, so if you know of anyone else in e.g. local homeschool groups or the like who might be interested in having their children sit for the exam as well that would be ideal. If not, however, we can generally waive that requirement for international situations.
  • It's critical that the testing room have reliable Wi-Fi and an internet speed of around 25 Mb/s (the speed is less critical than the reliability).
  • We would want, for reasons of both test integrity and technical support, the testing time window to coincide as closely as possible with the test's stateside administration. The next testing date is Saturday, December 7 - I'm sure we can work out a testing time that works in all of the relevant time zones, but I just wanted you to be aware.
Here is a link to our Test Site and Proctor Requirements document - some of it isn't relevant to this situation, but it's short and gives a pretty good general idea of the types of considerations to have in mind. Thank you - please let me know if you have any additional questions!

Thanks,
John Weeks

Hello, we are stationed in Israel serving as a US Marine family.  Our daughter is a homeschooled Senior.  She would like to take the CLT.  Is there anyway to do this from overseas?  My husband is here attending the Israeli National Defense College.  We could use the College librarian as a proctor, if that would be possible.
Please let me know if you have options for overseas or how we could assist.
Thank you
Kelly Smith
