Shalom IDF/IAF Friends,
EUCOM is working on delivering a large package of equipment to Israel over the next few weeks. They would like to deliver the first batch of equipment this Saturday (Shabbat), together with the redeployment (departure) of the JF people
and equipment. Below is their requested dates and aircraft stops. Big picture: they would like to land at Base 28, drop equipment and then move to BGA, and stay overnight and then upload the JF equipment on Sunday morning and depart. Because of where the
aircraft and equipment are coming from, they cannot do the mission in one day (everything on Sunday for example). The impact looks like 1x C-130J landing and needing to unload and depart from LLNV at some point on Saturday.
Please push this request up your respective chains (IDF J3, J5, IAF, etc) and provide us (the CC’d line) with an official answer if this is supportable (with a landing on or after Shabbat).
Please don’t hesitate to call/email if you need further clarification.
Respectfully,
Lt Col Caleb Olmert
