CDR Ledridge,
To answer your questions:
- One or two soldiers from the International Relations Desk will be escorting you throughout the college's visit.
- The Israel Institute of Democracy has interesting people working there that we thought might be able to give the delegation briefings.
However, they are busy that day so we are looking in to other options.
- We will request tickets for you to take the tram up the mountain instead of walking. There will not be an escort that day.
Additionally, we would like to ask you to please send us a list of the students coming including their passport numbers. If possible,
we would like to get a short CV on each student so we may get a feeling on who they are.
If possible, we would like to call you tomorrow to discuss further updates and answer your questions in greater detail.
Sincerely,
Andrew Braverman

Tobias,
I expect that Col Oler and company will reach out soon, but here are a couple of my initial thoughts:
-Are you providing an escort throughout?
-The Israel Democracy Institute: looked them up online, but what is the goal of that visit?
-Realize you have a change of command, but is there an opportunity to meet at/with INDC?
-I think we should plan for the tram up and down Masada… their knees might not all make it. Along with that, since it is a Friday and assuming there is an escort, we have no requirement for them that day. I think the group will also stop by the Dead Sea for a swim, so that will prolong that day and we don’t need to impact one of your schedules.
Thanks,

Shabbat Shalom,
Realizing you are busy, I just wanted to check in to see what magic you have worked regarding a draft schedule. I need to start locking down hotel rooms and transportation. Thanks,
Matt
