Here comes my contact information. We can use SKYPE for business or ZOOM Video Communications. A known problem is if you use military IT solutions then firewalls can cause problems. Then the alternative is that you perform on a private computer.

 

Do you have any restrictions on using video conferencing solutions?

 

I propose a general rehearsal from the current room for the training to check that the technology works best.

Hello Meir,

I just tried to call you in regard to discuss how we could make the best out of the current situation. If you are happy with giving your presentation  as a Skype/Zoom presentation, I think we should go along with that idea. In the current program you are scheduled to give your presentation between 0930B - 1130B and then 1230B – 1500B.  If you are happy with the idea of doing a Skype/Zoom presentation, what would be your suggested format in terms of timings and are there a reason to change the timings/format in order to better  suit the usage of Skype/Zoom?

 

When would be a suitable time for you to do a COMCHECK next week?

 

In terms of travel arrangements I will take care of making sure cancellation of flights and hotel reservations  are being done.

An hour ago I got a call from our foreign relations department saying that the IDF's Chief of staff forbade all international flights of IDF officers on non-operational missions due to the Coronavirus threat.

I haven't left the IDF, just finished commanding Dado Center after 5 year. I'm now head of research at Dado Center (a position I invented) at 80% time and teaching in high school near my home for the rest 20%.

So no need for payment. What I need is what was done in previous visits: flights, taxis and hotel.

One book is scheduled for next autumn,  the second- unknown yet. You can read what it is about.

Splendid that you are able to come to Stockholm in March. Richard Shirreff are going to be there as well so there might be a possibility that the two of you could supervise the students in the same way you did two years ago.

 

I know that you now have left the IDF who previously paid for you expenses, I therefore ask you get back to me in regards to payment, an offer, etc. so I can start take care of the admin side of your visit.

 

How interesting with the release of two new books during 2020. Do you think they will be released at the time of your lecture? Anyhow I will make sure that the students will be given your book on flexibility.

Defense University in Stockholm in March 2020. Johan has moved on to his new appointment and I
