This visit looks like it should be great!  Just finished the DCOM visit and B3 left happy. For  this visit, I have a couple of quick questions/thoughts:

 

-         Sat at the Airport, Brig Gen Corey Martin, the Defense Attache here in Israel will greet you guys at your gate.  Bio attached.  Dan Leventry will pick you up and bring you to the Hotel

-         I’ll be the Control Officer for the visit all week – and attend all the events with your team.   I can link up with your team Sat night (1900-ish) if you think it’s necessary, or I’ll see you Sun AM.

-         For the Icebreaker – will P2 prefer a 15 min walk to the event, or should we plan a driver?  Weather is supposed to be sunny.  Our DATT (Brig Gen Corey Martin) will join the Icebreaker

-         Does P2 need DAO support to get to Mass; or are you counting on Dan Leventry for trans to that?

-         For Yad Vashem – P2 is in Class As, the rest in Civvies?  Recommendation for me?  I can do either, although I prefer civviesJ

-         P2 will only get about 30 mins of Exec time after the Old City tour after we get back to TA.  Mostly just a heads up, but let me know if that’s problematic.

-         P2 (only) is set for the rappel into the Tunnel in the North.

-         Is departure with Dan Leventry? Or do you want/need DAO support including trans and expediting?

-         Have you thought about PA events?  For both V4 and B3, IDF has asked to put a statement on the IDF Facebook page and gotten approval (specified no photo tagging).

RADM Paparo will have his service uniform shipped to us, so he can do the wreath laying.  He’ll be the only one in service dress.

I would recommend St. Peters Church in Jaffa. They have a daily mass.

Also, when we do the Jerusalem tour, im sure weel find a church😊

One other thing…is there a Catholic church in the area?  The J3 is an observant Catholic and will likely want to attend Mass.
