First, we are very grateful for your invitation in september. I will come with a group of teachers. I will send you the names later.

Second, I have a problem, when you are going to give your presentation for our Command and Staff programme, the army students (approx 60) will be away on a short exercise. This was decided last week. As you know, your thesis is very popular among our students. They are very eager to listen to you. Would it be possible for you to give a presentation to them on your arrivalday, Monday 16 March, late afternoon or evening? Sorry for the inconvenience, but it would be very much appreciated.

Enjoy your vacation. We spend 20 days in September-October Jewish holidays
in Vietnam and Laos. Here we spend a night on a tree house 40 m above ground
in Laos.

anything else for those hours.

Thank you for your greetings. Everything is fine. I was actually just going
to write to you. I have two weeks vaccation. No snow in Stockholm for the
moment. We will stay at home, relax and do some small things with the house.
I have just built a new terrace, one part with roof and glassdoors. So I
will finish that. Doing practical things is also very good time for
thinking, don't you think so? Will you and your family go on a trip this
year?

We will unfortuanatly not see each other in March. I will be away in the US.
Our senior class (Command and Staff programme 2nd year) are going  to have
collaboration with NDU. As director I will be head of delegation.

I am a member of the Swedish Royal Accademy of War Science. The Army section
runs a project about the future Army- concept etc. The study group would
like to meet you in March, if possible. Purpose, discuss your view and
experience of concept development. Time, Wednesday afternoon if that suits
you?

I would also like to invite you to give a lecture to our junior class
(Command and Staff programme first year) in March. Time, tuesday 1615-1730
if that suits you? We use your book On Flexibility as one of the core books
of the curriculum.  It is very much appreciated by the students. It would be
great if you could elaborate beyond the book on the IDF approach to
flexibility.

Finally, we are interested to learn in more detail about the IDF approach to
"Design thinking". I see this as a possible development of our curriculum.
We discussed this earlier. I would like to bring a group of military
teachers (6-8) to Israel this spring or autumn, or if you prefer to come to
Stockholm.  Would that be possible?
