Deloitte is delighted to be supporters of the Climate Governance Initiative. Its purpose is to promote the adoption of the World Economic Forum’s Principles for Effective Climate Governance by mobilizing, educating and equipping non-executive directors with the skills and knowledge necessary to address climate change at the board level.

The Global Summit is organized and hosted by the Climate Governance Initiative's network of national chapters, in collaboration with the World Economic Forum, and admission is free.

It will convene board members, regulators, experts, academia and other corporate governance leaders to understand and act upon the risks and opportunities that the climate emergency poses to the long-term resilience and business success of their companies.
