Subject : Re: [Non-DoD Source] Re: Hatzor Airfield question

Hi

According to the checks the HQ did

777 can't land (width and weight)

767-300 can land but with restorations ( on the plain and to the base)
1. Weight limit No more than 320000 pounds
2. Even with this weight only one runway can support landing
3. Only few areas can receive for parking and offloading
4. Can't do a U turn on the runway

In order to move forward
can you update the date you are looking to land the plane (if you can meet the restriction of weight that is)

And the base can check if it can support with the restrictions

Thanks

Tal

Tal,

It could be a 767 or a 777.  Can Hatzor take them both?

                Tal,

Can Hatzor take a Boeing 767?  With the use of C-130s and a leased aircraft,
if we can land everything Hazor, it would save us some trouble.
