We have worked through the issue and there is no problem coming into CENTCOM, we just cannot not go into any secure areas.  This will not hold us up from our conversations.

Hey Charles, 

 

It appears that we are struggling with the admin bureaucracy. The Visit request we have is for SOCOM, and the embassy is unable to send out a new one in such short notice. 

 

Last time Shahar came, we had someone meet and pick him up (actually have his car follow). 

Is there any way we can do it this way this time as well?

Yes, we will coordinate for access and timing etc as the date draws near. Just let me know for sure your plans and availability for CENTCOM visit.

 

We had a good meeting with the A3, Attache and Liran today. I updated them on our plan to extend all CONOPs to 14 March, to include your most recent request. As long as the most recent request you submitted is not imminent, there should be no issues in gaining approval of the group together within the next several days.

In the IDF its much easier to get it approved..but it is ofcourse draft until we will work on it together..and if needed we will approve it again..

Good to know, did not realize it had 2 Star approval already.

 

We are looking at synchronizing all CONOPs, so we are asking to staff other CONOPs in addition to the newest request IOT extend all through 1 March. I expect the request will be sent out in the next couple of days.
