Thank you for your email.

- The concept laboratory is a department in J7 in IDF Operation Directorate (J3). The main purpose of this department is to design and experiment operational concepts to support force employment and force design at the operational and strategic levels of war.

- This is indeed a new kind of conference. This year it will be the first time, but we are planning to make it annual.

- The strategic overview will be presented by the Head of Doctrine and Training Division (J7), BG Yacov Bengo and will include regional and operational strategic brief, updates and challenged in the region as IDF sees them.

The purpose of this upcoming conference is to give you as much information as possible about the Operational Simulation Summit that will be hold in November, so you can locate relevant departments in Switzerland that will benefit from participating the Summit.
