        I've spent some time looking into COL Vardi's request. The current JFIRE manual was updated in 2016. It includes details on risk-estimate distances (combat) and minimum safe distances (training) for air and surface delivered munitions. It no longer uses the 10% PI, only the 0.1%. I'm afraid that it's not currently releasable to our Israeli partners. The fact that it is currently releasable to a number of other allied militaries indicates that formal requests for it have been approved in the past. If you'd like to request the manual, let me know, as I can push that request to our Army Combined Arms Doctrine Directorate (CADD).

        In the meantime, due to that non-releasable status, I can't really send anything electronic. I would, however, be happy to meet with COL Vardi and discuss the issue, and some of the factors that go into our doctrine. Actually, I'd like to meet him anyway, since I'm our Army's doctrine LNO here. That leaves two meeting requests from me to you: Eran Ortal and COL Vardi. Thanks Benzi!
