Benzi,

It sounds like the base is not going to want you to go to the rental car company off base due to the Reinland-Phaltz stipulations.

First, we are checking with Hertz to see if they will rent to you and are on base. I know that Enterprise and SIXT will not. Second, I may be able to find you an additional driver to move you or others around.

So I am moving forward with the Surry for you with a 0700ish pickup each morning and then a drop at each location. Ken Holshouser could then come and pick you and others up and drive you around as needed. Please don't abuse him as he will then abuse me.

If Hertz works we'll just CNX the Surry on Monday through Wednesday and Ken.

That’s a possibility. But with some folks moving from a couple of places each day (I will move around from wpc and jsmc-k a couple of times each day) it makes things harder.

I’ll know tomorrow what our MoD decides. But if the surry can take us to landshtul/keiserslautern or wherever we can rent a car, that’ll be superb.

We were just notified that we might have to rent the cars out of Frankfurt.

Will there be a way to organize a ride for us from Ramstein to Frankfurt on Sunday, and then maybe again early Thursday morning/Wednesday evening?
