Subject: MARCENT CG Visit 9_10 June
North America Branch Comrades,
As mentioned verbally a couple of weeks ago, we will have a one-day visit from the commanding general of Marine Forces-Central Command, Lieutenant General Carl Mundy.
Who: MARCENT CG with three staff (Vaccine Certs and Passports attached)
When: 9-10 June 2021
Hotel: Setai Jaffa
Arrival: mid-day on 9 June.
Depart: early morn on 10 June.
Arriving on MILAIR from TAMPA. Will provide flight details as soon as received.
Why: As tasked by CC Commander Gen McKenzie, LtGen Mundy will arrive to conduct an initial familiarization and assessment of future opportunities for collaboration and engagement between MARCENT and the IDF. We respectfully request meetings
with appropriate representatives who can discuss future training, exercises, and other opportunities. No requirement for a formal dinner. This will be the first visit of several which will present opportunities for dinners, cultural engagements, etc. I’ve
recommended engagements with J7/8 rep, MG Bengo, 99th DIV, etc.
I would like to discuss and plan as soon as possible.
