I’ve just been advised by our production team that there are too many words on the pdf you sent us for it to work on one of our banners.  Could you have something created that would distil the info a bit? Is there also a website that someone could click to?  Some examples below to help illustrate. I also refer you to the banner sizes in my earlier email.

Depending on number of attendees, we would provide complimentary magazines and/or promotional materials for distribution; we usually also have these distributed as seat drops with other events we have partnered. Once the legal details have been worked out, do let us know what you are able to offer MS&T Magazine in return for:

 

• a free banner ad in our weekly e-newsletter (number of insertions to be decided)
• a free banner ad on MS&T website (number of insertions to be decided)
• your summit listed and promoted in the Industry Events section on MS&T website
• your summit listed in the Calendar section of MS&T printed magazine
• publishing your press-release about the summit in MS&T weekly e-newsletter
• sponsored content opportunities in MS&T weekly e-newsletter

 

Clare will prepare a media partnership document once we receive your clarification. In the meantime, as a show of good faith, I’m happy to have your banners up and running as soon as you can provide them. The banner sizes are:  

 

• 468 x 60 pixels
• 250 x 250 pixels
• 300 x 250 pixels

 

I’ve also copied in our European Editor, Dim Jones, who I believe you’ve also reached out to, and MS&T Magazine Editor Rick Adams to connect with you separately on editorial opportunities and the attached article.

Thanks for your willingness to cooperate on what will hopefully be a great event.

I still need to figure out legal details, but we will have some monitors. We will be able to hand out brochures or any other items you may want to hand out.

We would also love to arrange some office calls in the IDF, even maybe a  site tour to our tactical M&S facility so you can have so content to share in the magazine. In addition, our chief methodologist has an article he just wrote, he would love to share with you.

My name is Benzi Zimmerman, and I head the IDF’s international cooperation desk at the Operations Directorate (J3).

 

My office, along with the IDF-J7 and Concepts Lab are putting up an International Operational Simulation Summit in the fall (November).

The conference is not for profit, registration is free and should attract high-profile IDF simulation experts along with international and local industries and foreign militaries.

 

Since we are not for profit, our marketing resources are fairly limited as you can imagine.

 

We would love to get the word out – and maybe we can find a way to do this together? – we will not have an exhibition at the summit, but im sure we can find a way to have your name, merchandise, logo and etc, along with exclusive media rights (tbd)… ?
