Subject: Your visit
I would like to informally brainstorm for a minute with you if I may.
We are discussing the best way for our students to have a joint learning experience for a short time before the dinner.
One option - determine ahead of time a main question or issue to discuss, let the students know what it is, and then have a one hour or so small group discussion (two or three mixed groups), mentored by instructors from both sides.
What are your thoughts on this idea, and on the main issue to discuss? It would ideally be a strategic/national security topic regarding the Middle East, based in part on what your group has been exposed to up until their visit.
We would also appreciate any alternative concept you would raise from your perspective.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
