As requested, here is the provisional itinerary created by SDP. Stephano sent it out earlier this afternoon.

 

0900-0930 Arrival and inprocessing

0945 meeting with DCOS PD

1015 Group Photo – building 102

1030 CCOMC brief on its structure & functions

1045 CCOMC brief on SHAPE current operations and priorities

1130 Q&A session. Topics: increase in cooperation (training and operations), interoperability, sharing of lessons learned and military knowledge

1200 Brief to SHAPE on the military situation in the Middle East

1230 Hosted lunch for 3 SHAPE and 3 ISR particpants, SACEUR mess, funded by CG

1330 visit ends

 

I have already mentioned to Stefano that we need to get the delegation out of here by 1330 to make sure there is enough time to get to the airport. He acknowledged and will fix it in the next iteration of the agenda. I told him it could potentially be as simple as moving everything up by 15 minutes, and I suggested starting the visit with DCOS PD at 0930. Of course it will all depend on when you get here and how long it takes to get through the gate, so they may still need to just cut 15 minutes somewhere else.
