Dear Maj. Zimerman,
Many thanks for the response and no worries about technology and bureaucracy, major challenges also here in Canada.
Indeed, I definitely think that we could build relationships at an institutional and History Department level with the National Defense College.
Let me talk to my Department Head and the person responsible for exchange programs. I will write you back.
Thanks
Emanuele

Dear Dr. Sica,
I apologize for my delayed response – it seems like I lost the battle to modern day technology and military bureaucracy.
My name is Benzi Zimmerman, and I handle the International affairs and cooperation for the IDF J7 and J3, and at this time will communicate with you to establish the relationship.
The History department would love to see where this relationship can go – they are a great and would be able to provide reliable information on the Israeli-Arab conflict, the state of Israel and etc… I think we have a lot we can learn from your combat experience
in the middle east as well.
At this time, what did you have in mind? As you know, the IDF also has a National Defense College, so depending on the avenues of cooperation we can discuss who will take point and etc.
All the best and Regards from sunny Tel Aviv,
V/r
