Please find attached an Excel spread sheet detailing 37 NATO exercises that welcome/encourage PN participation.  You are respectfully requested to complete the spread sheet detailing your desired participation in the exercise serials.  This HQ is requesting that you send responses (with completed attachment) to myself and to LTC Angel ‘Mango’ Santiago (at CC) by Friday 15 November 2019

 

Please Note: TRIDENT JUPITER 2020 and TRIDENT JACKAL 2020 have been merged to one exercise with the title STEADFAST JUPITER-JACKAL 2020.

 

SHAPE are in a particular  hurry regarding STEADFAST JUPITER – JACKAL 2020 because the planning process for this exercise has started and we need the NAC-approval as soon as possible.

 

Perhaps this is something we can discuss in more detail during our scheduled telecon next week?

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to inform you that yesterday a VTC was conducted by SHAPE PD regarding the Partner Nations’ involvement with the participation of JFCs and SSCs.

As you can see in the email below, SHAPE PD requests from every specific Partner Nation to fill in the attached excel spreadsheet in which they will express their desire for involvement in NATO exercises for the next years.

Actually, SHAPE PD changes the ‘’case by case’’  process for NAC-approval, because it wants to prepare rationales only for Partner Nations that they indeed want to be involved (participation or observation) in NATO exercises.

Therefore, you are kindly requested to send the attached excel spreadsheet to POCs of the countries you are in charge of requesting to send it back to you by Friday 15 November 2019. We are in a harry regarding STEADFAST JUPITER – JACKAL 2020 because the planning process for this exercise has started and we need the NAC-approval as soon as possible.

You are also kindly requested to mention that the exercises TRIDENT JUPITER 2020 and TRIDENT JACKAL 2020 have been merged to one exercise with the title STEADFAST JUPITER-JACKAL 2020.
