We’ll likely arrange the transportation for trips up north and south. Once you have a more refined agenda, can you please let us know? The destinations up north/south will determine our FORCEPRO measures and whether or not we need to get up armored vehicles.

I hope this email finds you well. The purpose of this note is to ensure prudent coordination with the USEMB Jerusalem as we plan a BFC with our IDF counterparts.

LTC Shahar Shoshana, from IDF International cooperation (IDF J3), has invited the ECJ35 Levant lead planners to Israel from 17-20 DEC 2019.

Attendees include:

MAJ Tom Arnold (Strategist, ECJ35 Levant)

MAJ Brian Miletich (Joint Planner, ECJ35 Levant)

COL Joe Kuchan (J35 DIV Chief)

Purpose of the BFC is to advance our understanding of all key nodes associated with our bilateral plans with Israel.

In general, LTC Shoshana mentioned he would like to allocate 1 day to go north (read: Golan Heights) and 1 day to go south (read: Jordan valley). We think that is 18 DEC to head north from Tel Aviv, and 19 DEC to head south from Tel Aviv.

What actions do you need us to take to ensure complete coordination. Will we require additional FORCEPRO?
