Consulate General of Georgia in San Francisco opens yet another door to Georgia

The year 2020 marked the opening of a new representation of the Georgian people and the Georgian Government in the United States. The first Consulate General of Georgia in San Francisco, California leads the efforts of promoting the interests of the Georgian citizens and works to enhance the partnership between Georgia and the states of the Western U.S. through active engagement with the Georgian diaspora, private and public organizations, and the local governments.

Our Director of US & International Services wins Vilnius City Government Competition and GoVilnius

Being in Vilnius, Lithuania, for the holidays, I learned the city government was having a balcony – decorating contest. The goal was to inspire people to create a festive atmosphere during the COVID quarantine and to allow people to look through their windows and enjoy the magic of Christmas.

The Block was intended to bring a little slice of life and culture to an area that seemed to be slow paced but up and coming. The goal was to have an area where people could eat delicious food, yummy desserts, fantastic cocktails; all the while creating not just a cafeteria, but a designated hangout spot for everyone in the community.
