Hi Matan, I have become aware that Canadian academics (Prof. Philippe Dufort & Prof. Philippe Beaulieu-B.) have been building collaborations with General Shimon Naveh (retired) and Dr. Ofra Graicer who teach the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) General’s course. The latter have apparently agreed to teach a one week Military Design course to a group (6-8) of Canadian General and Flag Officers and others as well as help coordinate a day or two of touring IDF locations around Israel. The dates proposed for this event are 22-30 May.  Is this on your radar?

On our end in Ottawa, our Chief of Defence Staff is preparing to write to LGen Kochavi to solicit his support for the activity. The question has come up is whether it is appropriate to ‘invite ourselves’ or whether INDC or the CoGS will extend an invitation first?
