Dear Merav, dear Matan good morning!

First of all, I wanted to thank you Merav for putting me in contact with Matan to coordinate the visit of Gen. GIANCOTTI.

Regarding this visit, I would like to inform you that the IDF has confirmed this week the feasibility of the visit of our Chief of Defense Staff to the General Kochavi for the last week of February (25^th -27^th).

For this reason I think there is no possibility for Gen. GIANCOTTI to pay a visit to Gen. VERUN in the dates you have suggested to me (24^th or 26^th or 27^th of February 2020).

Two LTG at the same time are not manageable by us in logistical terms.

I’ll be sure 100% about this in the next very few days.

I have already contacted the Italian Defence Studies Center, requesting them new dates for GIANCOTTI to pay a visit to Gen. VERUN, and I’m waiting for an answer.

Following our meeting last week, we would like to advance the visit of General Fernando Giancotti and propose the following potential dates for such a visit: 24, 26 or 27 of February 2020.

Ms. Gal Balas, who is cced on this message will take care of all arrangements, including the issuance of an invitation letter once we set the date. We are more than happy to provide any additional assistance that you may require for his visit in Israel, including beyond his visit to the INDC.
