Subject: Final Proctoring Information - February 12 CLT

Hi Anat,
Just wanted to make sure you had everything you needed for Faith Smith's test on Wednesday! The test will be
available from about 10 AM Wednesday the 12th to 10 AM Thursday the 13th (corresponding to midnight-to-midnight in the western US), but I've recommended the Smiths aim for around 4 PM Israel time as that's when our office staff will be in position.
Please read the Proctor Manual in full - the link is below; I know it's long but in particular the scripts will be very important, and Faith will be looking to you for guidance if anything goes amiss (and hopefully most contingencies are covered in the
Manual). Thank you again for your help with this!
The primary expectations of a CLT proctor are broken down as follows:
1.
Timing -
Arrive in the testing room on time and remain there until the exam is complete and until you submit the proctor survey and anomaly report (which takes about 10 minutes total). For proctors in
the Eastern and Central time zones, this means you must be in the testing room from 9:30 AM until about 1:10 PM, or, if no students decide to take the optional essay section, until about 12:40 PM. For test sites in the Mountain, Pacific, and Alaska time zones,
subtract one hour from each of these times. For test sites in Hawaii, subtract two hours.
2.
Proctor Manual - Please set aside some time to read the updated Proctor
Manual, with slight updates since the last test - see the "Recent Changes to the Manual" on p. 3. The most important
recent changes are the addition of an Internet Connection Icon, an amendment to student lateness protocol, and the announcement of the continuation of the Proctor
Incentive Program we piloted on our September and December exam dates.
3.
Test Day Communication -
On test day, be responsive if we need to call you at the number listed in your proctor contract or if we need to email you at this address, and communicate to us any major questions or report
any errors or concerns you have on test day via our online chat, which will be live on test day and will be accessible at the bottom-right of
our homepage. CLT personnel will call you from (844) 923-8392 and will email from addresses ending in “@cltexam.com.”
4.
Compensation - You will receive your
proctor compensation electronically via PayPal within one week of test day.
That’s all for now! Please let me know if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
John Weeks
