Hello Matan,

 

Thank you for your email – I am sorry for the delay in responding to it.

 

Unfortunately, just hours ago, the Director of our Joint Chiefs of Staff (DJS) curtailed overseas travel due to the COVID-19 situation, and that means we won’t be able to travel to Israel in April.  We had been working with Ms. Ella Megidov of the Policy and Political-Military Bureau to set things up.  I just informed her of the cancelation.

 

We regret the need to cancel our visit, as we were all looking forward to it very much.

 

I won’t be in charge of the Cyber Domain/Advanced Computing Industry Study (Cyber IS) next year, as I will be retiring by August 31, 2020, but there is a good chance one of our groups will visit in the future, if permitted.

 

I greatly appreciate all of your assistance (and your colleagues’) with my recent visit.  I have captured the key contacts, etc., for my likely successor, and he will certainly use them to great effect.
