Subject: Access to Your Online Classroom - Legal Dimensions of Contemporary and Future Use of Force , 28-30 October 2019
Importance: High
Dear all,
Your Legal Dimensions of Contemporary and Future Use of Force online classroom is ready for you to access on Claned!
This online classroom is used to provide you with pre-course information, and will also be used throughout the course, giving you access to core documents and speaker presentations.
It has already been updated with:
How to access the online classroom:
1. Click on the following link: https://app.claned.com/#/register?token=3d0eda04-85d6-4666-9052-614580da7487
2. This will direct you to the registration page.
3. As a first time user, click: Create account.
4. You will then have access to the virtual learning environment for the course:
· Each time you log into the platform, you will land on the “Overview” section. This is where you find any announcements from the Security and Law Team. It is also the place to see who else will participate in the course (under “Board Members” at the bottom of the page), and to access the “Board Chat”.
· One of the great benefits of attending this course is the people you will meet and add to your network. With that in mind, we want to make learning social, which begins with learners establishing an identity, a personal profile. So, do not forget to upload a profile picture, and to fill out your profile.
· Course-related materials are saved on the “Content” section. Here you will find several documents, including the programme and the speaker biographies. You will also be able to access documents that will help you to best grasp the course (pre-course activities).
· We encourage you to adjust your settings for notifications after logging in the first time (please click on your name at the top, right hand side, and click on “Preferences”).
Please note, a short explanatory video of how to use the online Claned platform is available for you under the “Content” – Welcome & Orientation first module.
We hope that you will find the online classroom useful. If you have any issues accessing it or the information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
With kind regards,
Ms Constance Dumont
