Thanks Brian.

It's a pleasure to meet you virtually General Veruv.  Brian has filled me in on the context of your planned meeting on Yemen.  While I have a conflicting engagement and cannot travel to Israel to participate in your conference, I would be happy to join you virtually if that's a possibility.  If not, I can suggest that two of my former colleagues and successors to me as ambassador to Yemen have recently retired from the foreign service and might be willing to attend.  Matt Tueller, my immediate successor, has just retired and returned to his home in Utah.  I don't have contact information at the moment but could get it if you want.  His successor, also retired, is Chris Henzel.  You can contact Chris at henzelcp@hotmail.com.  Another possibility, although I cannot say whether she would be available to travel to Israel, would be one of my colleagues at MEI, Nadwa al-Dawsari.  Nadwa is an American citizen of Yemeni origin.  You can reach her at naldawsari@mei.edu.

Best regards,
Jerry Feierstein

Daer MG Veruv,

Nice to meet you during our session at the MIddle East Institute yesterday morning.

I mentioned the session you are organizing next month to our colleague Amb. Gerald Feierstein, and he is copied on this message.

I'm not sure if your session fits with the Ambassador's schedule, but I was hoping you could send some more details.  For sure he would be able to advise on people who might be qualified to speak at your session if he's not available.

Here's his Amb. Feierstein's biography so you have the background:
