Subject : IDF Senior Leadership delegation to DC

Colonel Kenkel,

Shana tova! I hope all is well by you, sir.

As you know, we are sending 14 IDF Senior officers (all active or designated GOs, handpicked by the CHOD) to a 2-week seminar in D.C. The program will in cooperation with JINSA and the ISRAELI EMBASSY in D.C.

The purpose of the seminar is to Enhance the understanding of the American “system”, Strategy and Interests, as an “Operational Compass” for decision making.

All participants are highly valued officers, hand-picked by the IDF’s senior leadership and “marked” as potential senior leadership.

The IDF and the Embassy is looking to coordinate "active duty" agenda items in the Pentagon and the NDU (We already reached out via the embassy in D.C).

I am asking for your assistance, since we got negative feedback to our request to visit the PENTAGON, due to sending the request less the 30-days prior to the visit.

Sir, this visit is crucial to the success of our delegation – it's very senior. We would appreciate any help and assistance the DATT office can provide to enable this half-day program in the Pentagon.
