Ok, thanks, again, to wonderful Simona, I was able to book another flight from Israir departing Frankfurt on May 6:

Flight: ISRAIR 6H 726 - 6 May
Departing Frankfurt: 16.35
Landing Ben Gurion-Tel Aviv: 2150

I booked a flight from Rome to Frankfurt for the night before and hope that everything will be ok.

When I land I will be picked up by Attaché office personnel to be taken directly to my quarantine if this is an appropriate procedure.

Simona, please let me know if I need to update any of the previous forms.

Have you tried to check IsrAir? They’re arranging most flights out of Europe these days. 
Let me know if you manage to get something.

thank you so much for all the help in coordinating this.

Sadly I have to inform you that all the flights I booked have been canceled. I tried first via Vienna, then via Budapest and finally via Belgrade, but I suppose that those flights were never really happening, although I was actually able to book them.

I see that a few flights reach Ben Gurion airport every day and I am evaluating my options.

El Al is sometimes flying from Paris and London but these special flights show up on their site only when created. I will try to reach one of those cities the next time El Al puts up an airplane.

Of course I will keep all of you in the loop, hoping to be back as soon as possible.
